Need Reception Hall Fast! Cincinnati_August

Our guest list has outgrown our original reception venue.

Please help! Any suggestions on budget friendly reception venues that allow outside catering?

Thank you!

These are in Northern KY but the Southgate Community Center and The Fort Thomas Community Center are both beautiful and seat over 300.

Your wedding is this August? How did you let your guest list grow out of control after you had already selected a venue?

Try Receptions Inc.  They let you bring your own caterer for a room rental (which includes plates, glassware, silverware, setup, cleanup, etc.) of about $14/pp.  They have room for a guestlist of 275.

I am getting married at Music Hall downtown in August and they allow outdoor caterers.  The ballroom holds like 1000 people or something.

Thank you everyone! This has been a great help! I'll keep the community posted on what we find. And of course more suggestions are welcome just in case.

This issue was a combo of not only our guest list growing but also, the hall of the church where we are getting married will not seat as many people as they said it would. We desired the larger of two rooms available, but now they can only offer us the smaller room. The larger room would require more labor to prepare it for us and they no longer want to do that.

We've tried cutting the guest list and saying no to those who want to attend, but we really do want all of our family and friends to be a part of this celebration. This is a first marriage for both of us and we've both waited a long long long long time to find each other, so it's something really special for everyone that knows us.

Oh, I just can't wait to be with my love and move beyond all this. Wink
