Dear Fellow Brides-and-Brides-To-Be:
Okay, so I'm not much of a wedding person. This is all new to me, even though I'm getting married in eight day. That being said, I always tip generously at restaurants and would like to do the same for our vendors. HOWEVER, I have a difficult time believing that tipping etiquette is the same for vendors as it is for servers. After all, 20% of our catering bill would be over $300, which seems a bit inflated. If anyone could let me in on the standard, I would appreciate it. I would *hate* to under-tip and be viewed as ungrateful or selfish. I am seriously anything but. Our vendors have been AMAZING in working with me and my crunch-time panic and deserve to to be compensated appropriately.
Thanks, in advance, for any advice you may be able to offer!
