Flowers

Do florists typically provide the equipment to hold up the flowers?

Specifically I am wondering if I would have to buy tall stands for flowers to sit on top of (centerpieces) or if florists usually have that type of thing. Thoughts?

Re: Flowers

  • Florist should provide them but you're renting them.  Also, be aware that if any of your guests take them home, you're responsible for replacement cost (yeah, it's been known to happen,  unfortunately).
  • Any reputable florist is at least going to have them and offer them for a rental fee.

I was looking at the candelabras that hold flowers. Have you guys seen ones like these? Florist recommendation?  Rental fee is fine, I would hate to buy things I'm never going to use again!

  • If your florist doesn't have them, you can rent from places like Hobby Lobby, but you should have a friend do it since they usually want next-day return.

  • Yep I've seen those at a couple weddings recently- very pretty! I'm not sure that my florist had them (Two Little Buds) but I'm sure that most other florists would be able to offer them. Or you could check out hobby lobby like Clearheavens mentioned. Also if the florist doesn't have them to offer for rental, I'm sure they know someone to recommend.
