Has anyone used or known anyone who has used Photography by Lydia?  Her prices are very reasonable and her blog is good.  Just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with her.  I need to pick a photographer soon but I just can't decide

I am using her! She is fantastic and very personable. She has photographed two of my friends' weddings and is doing 2 more this summer. All my friends have been happy with their engagement and wedding photos and said she was very professional and blended into the wedding scene well, without being one of those annoying in your face photographers. I know she is willing to travel as well, as she traveled 2.5 hrs away for one of my friends' weddings and is coming to Columbus for mine. Overall, I would highly recommend her!

I actually met with her tonight, and we LOVED her! We are "checking" with her references she gave us, but so far she sounds like a great photographer to work with!

Its just because she's relatively new to the business. She has only been working independently for two years now I believe. Before that she worked under Melissa Esterline a few years, who is a really well known photographer. I vote go with Lydia!

She responded to my initial email but I havent heard anything since.  Beckilee- have you had engagment pics done by her?  If so I would love to see them.  Thanks!

We are having a Sunday wedding and it turns out that she does not shoot on Sundays. 

And the search continues....

We also looked at Peter Lubon, he is starting on his own but also works for Ron Schueller (I am sure I spelled that wrong). His prices are similar to Lydia's, a little higher. Some others are Christie Gardner, she was really nice. Anna Kennedy, I never really talked to her but I had her answer all of my questions she is $1400. Ingrid from PhotoInk is super nice and helpful but she was booked for my date. And  Tracie Jean was really flexible with what she included but charged a little more than we wanted to pay!

I asked all of them several questions and have them all in documents if you want to know anymore about them! I also have prices for each of them, and I know they all do Sundays because we were originally looking at a Sunday! Just let me know if I can help!
