Cincinnati Art Museum

Hi! I'm new to the boards, and just starting the planning process. At this point, its pretty safe to say I'm obsessed with the idea of using the Cincinnati Art Museum as my venue. It's beyond gorgeous, but I am just concerned that there might be a lack of "party atmosphere" during the reception because of the layout of the room. We really want our guests to have a good time and be able to dance around, etc. Has anyone held or attended a wedding there? Did the floor plan and/or limited space create any logistical problems in terms of the party part of the reception? Any input would be MORE than appreciated!!

    I have been to a wedding there. Very beautiful venue. The biggest issue at the wedding I went too was size. They tried aqueezing way to many people in there. There just simply wasn't enough room for anything. As long as you don't have that many guests I'm sure it would work out.

    I have been to a wedding there.  It is beautiful but kinda tight.  If you are having a lot of guests there probably wont be much room for dancing.
