Anyone used Piece of Cake on the west side?

Has anyone used Piece of Cake?  We've tasted cakes and like the taste and are wondering how the final product looks.

I haven't really considered them at this point because their website looks ANCIENT! The pictures all look like they are from the 80's- so I wonder if they have had any work lately

I'm curious to hear from anyone and see pictures from a recent wedding they have done a cake for- their prices fit my budget- but the website makes it hard for me to consider them!

You hit the nail right on the head, website is terrible! We tasted the cakes over the weekend and thought they were really good.  You can really taste the ingredients and their frosting isn't as heavy as others.  I'd recommend at least doing a tasting.  It's an actual shop (not working out of the house) and the owners seem really nice and totally capable. We got so caught up looking at their books with pages from wedding cake magazines that I forgot to ask to see pics of cakes they had actually made.  We went to the site and were like..."are those people wearing shoulder pads?!"  I think they're just not so good with technology but the bakery seems legit and has been around a while.  Would love to hear other's experiences!

I have to be picky on what vendors I meet with because I live in Chicago- so I am not often home in Ohio to do meetings- and when I am home it is back-to-back meetings with some family time squeezed in

I tried to get a meeting with flying buttercream, but they were booked up the weekend I'll be home

My sister used them for her wedding and it was delicious!  I am using them for mine as well.  I totally agree with you about the ancient website...if you go to their shop it's not any better!  However, they will and can do whatever you want as long as you bring pictures.  The cake is GREAT and the price is great too!
