I wanted to introduce myself, my name is Sam and I got engaged on Sunday at the Ravens/Bengals game in Baltimore. I am from Northern Kentucky but have since moved across the river. I am a super long time lurker so I already have a decent idea of what I am looking for... I am excited to finally start planning.

Tell us a little about yourself and your wedding. Do you know of a timeframe you are looking at for the wedding date? How large would you like your wedding party to be? What colors/theme do you like?

 I am an assignment editor for one of the local tv stations which basically means i listen to the police scanners, answer viewer phone calls/emails and look for news. It probably sounds a lot cooler than what it is!  My fiance is a Cincinnati police officer.  We have been together for 3 years. I am hoping to get married this August or September! I don't really want a long engagement.

I am really wanting just something fun and with good food and stiff drinks I have dates booked at Drees Pavillion and Music Hall. Those are probably the two I will be deciding between...as for colors,  I am leaning towards navy blue and hot pink as my colors..but I also love really bold deep colors so that may also be what I go for. So many decisions!

Those colors sound very pretty! You have alot to do, but just take it one day at a time and enjoy the planning process while it lasts
