since you've all been planning, who has been your favorite vendor to work with so far?

I have a lot of great vendors. My favorites have been Jason from the Golf Club at Yankee Trace and Michelle from Nixon Photography. Both have been incredibly accomodating and helpful. I highly recommend both of these vendors to anyone.

My favorite has been Brad from Queen City DJs.  He's pretty much the only vendor that picks up his phone every time I call.  Gotta love that!

Sem Villa Chapel for the ceremony (stunning!) , Brides of Cincinnati for the officiant (Kathryn's a joy), Katie Elfers flowers (reasonable and stunning).  Looking at Krohn Conservatory for the reception but don't know if I want to deal with their caterers.  I'd also love French House but the same caveat applies there too.  We're not having a DJ so am looking at a string quartet (have yet to hire) so not very helpful on the DJ side of things.  A friend is doing our photography; god, I hope I'm not making a mistake there (LOL)!  Nancy from Brideface is top rated - and for a reason.

I am new to the boards but I had to comment on this. I love Michael Bambino! He was the first and only photographer we met with, and it was an instant connection. He's just so funny and warm. He is doing our engagement photos and Kim from his studio (who is also so sweet and talented!) is doing our wedding. Can't wait!

Also very excited about Nancy from Brideface. She is super responsive and I've heard so many wonderful things about her!

My favorite vendor so far is Nathan from Fyrefly Photography. He is such a wonderful, genuine person! I can't wait for our engagement session.

I also love Becca from The Madison! She's just awesome.
