Review - Hair and Makeup Trial by EyeDo Makeup and Lash Design

I had my hair and makeup trial with Crystal last night. Crystal came to my house with all her supplies and spent close to three hours working with me to get my hair and makeup look just right for my wedding. She is very professional and so sweet.

Others had posted that she doesn't use an actual air brush gun, but I can confirm that yes, she does. She uses all Mac cosmetics and explains everything she's doing as she's working. She also gave me some inexpensive product recommendations for skin and hair.

I highly recommend EyeDo and especially the owner, Crystal Rieger.

When I had a trial with her, she pulled out a Can of mac foundation and said it was airbrush.I was expecting an airbrush gun. I was very displeased.

Do you all feel like air brush is a lot better than regular makeup? I havent decided about that and am not sure if air brush should be a deal breaker or not...

it depends, I didnt use it at my wedding because it was cold out , but my sister is getting married and it will be dead summer so airbrush im told is better to keep our faces from melting off.

I own a personal airbrush machine at home, so you can bet whoever does my wedding makeup better use a professional airbrush machine, otherwise I'll do it myself.

On a side note, once you go airbrush, you can never go back! It takes me only a few minutes to do my makeup, it lasts all day, and people always ask me if I had it done professionally.

    SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME.

She MAY be using actual airbrush now, but when I had my trial with her, all of her information claimed that she did airbrush makeup and she whipped out a can of makeup that was called airbrush in a can or something like that. Very deceptive and uncool. Needless to say, I did not end up booking her for my wedding day.

To the others wondering about airbrush makeup, DO IT. Its so lightweight and amazing. I was flawless all day long even after many tears :)

I had Crystal come over to my house last Wednesday for my trial hair and make-up for my June 25th wedding. She did a wonderful job and was very professional making sure I was pleased before she left. She did indeed have an airbrush gun that she applied my foundation with and used all MAC products. I decided to sleep in the make-up that evening, and I woke up looking just as great!  I'm very excited for the airbrush make-up, especially on a hot June day. Crystal also applied false lashes to my eyes which I didn't even feel after 5 minutes.

Lastly, Crystal did my hair updo trial for the wedding. I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted, but after showing her a few picture ideas she went right to work. Not only did she do what I asked, but gave me different options on how I could style my hair for the day of the wedding and she didn't leave until I was satisfied. She also provided me with extension pieces to add more fullness to my hair. Crystal  had a bag of complimentary accessories for hair that she would gladly use at NO CHARGE as part of the updo hair package if you book her. I had my own accessories, but I'm sure my bridesmaids will love having a few extras in their hair.

Overall, I was very pleased! I would recommend Crystal to make your wedding day look picture perfect.

I had Crystal do a trial run of makeup and hair on me for my exciting upcoming wedding day!  She used the airbrush gun on me and it turned out great!!  I was so happy the way it was able to cover my blemishes perfectly!  :-) In addition, Crystal did an exceptional job on my hair, therfore I am having her and her team do my maid of honor's hair also for the wedding day.  I would highly recommend utilizing Crystal's services for your special day too!  :-)

You read my mind. I think its a little coincidental that this conversation comes up and suddenly girls that have never posted before, decide that now is the time to throw in their 2 cents.

Maybe it is just a coincidence. Maybe its not. I vote for the latter.

YES I used airbrush and loved it. It seriously made me look flawless and you dont even feel like you are wearing anything. I used Michelle Marx with Marxey Makeup.

Yeah, when I first started looking for a MUA, Michelle wasnt doing airbrush at that time. Since then, she decided to go with it and she did a great job. She charges $25 extra for the airbrush application but to me, its totally worth it. Especially for a mid-summer wedding (so your makeup doesnt melt off!)
