Anderson Center

Has anyone been to a wedding or planning to have their wedding at the Anderson Center?  My sister-in-law just got engaged and we ran across the venue & are looking for more information/opinions.  Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

    They wrote to me that the rate for the Community Meeting Room is $1500 and you can bring outside caterers if you wish; just need a copy of their catering license, insurance, and liquor permits.  Can accomodate 176 guests.

    We looked into it as well, but it was rather expensive.  They don't rent anything to you if you want to use their outside space, and renting tents in case of ran gets verrry expensive around here!

    If you're on a tight budget this probably isn't the way to go, I'm learning that the hard way!  My wedding is in 26 days at the Anderson center & it's getting super pricey to hire everything separately....they only include chairs, tables & linens are included in a variety of colors (chair covers & napkins are not included) our ceremony is outside.....
    But we love the venue, the outside is beautiful for ceremony & pics, & the room opens to a balcony for some fresh air! I LOVE that...
    I can post pics when I get back from the honeymoon! BTW they're having a bridal Show Aug 21st this year ;)

    In was wondering if you (fox7xh) had been able to upload the pictures of your wedding to see. I am in love whit the idea of this location but haven't been able to find pictures anywhere.
