Photographer suggestions that would be for hire for an hour?

We are planning a small ceremony with just our immediate family and very close friends.  20-25 people tops.  We're having a small ceremony probably downtown, and then off to dinner at a restaurant.  

I would only need a photographer for about an hour, and I want some fantastic shots.  The kicker is, this would be next month!  

Anyone know of anyone that would be willing to such a non-traditional shoot?

I really want a great photographer though.  Ideas?

I can't help with recommendations because I didn't get married here, but I had a similar situation with my wedding.  I emailed several photographers and told them what I wanted, and most of them gave me a flat-rate fee.  November isn't a busy month for weddings, so you might be able to find some good photographers that are available.

I'd search old threads for recommendations, and start sending out emails to see if any photographers mentioned here are free on your date.  If not, they might be able to provide some other names.

I haven't had my wedding yet (it's in Dec) but I highly recommend Rachel. She was recommended by others here & she's been a doll to deal with. I love her style and the photos on her website - she was also super flexible with her budget/availability. I'm in a similar boat, small wedding, short notice, only needed someone for a few hours. She was quick to respond (unlike many others I contacted) and very friendly.

Rachael's Second Shooter Sheila Castle is now doing weddings, and is offering a great deal -- if you go to her website sheilacastlephotography.com and email her - mention someone sent you whose wedding she's shooting 6-9-12 and she should give you a good deal! she's doing a friends/etc thing but I emailed her what I needed, and the price I was willing to pay and she worked great with me!

Do you want portraits & ceremony shots? If so, you will probably need longer than an hour. But it's true that most photographers give discounts in fall and winter. I would recommend my photographer, Innovatory Photography.
