So what are some of the vendors you ladies have booked so far? i.e., reception location, cake, flowers, photographer, etc????

I am in Dayton too! So far because our date is so far out (Sept 1 2012) we have only booked the venue... Country Club of the North. They were already booking up for 2012 pretty fast!

I'm a Dayton bride as well.  We're having the ceremony and reception at Carillon park. Photography is Bob White (out of cincy).  DJ is Tony Herdman.  I think we're going to go with Elite for catering.  That's all I've got so far.

    I'm in Dayton.
We're getting married in June 2010--like catmarie4, we're having both ceremony and reception at Carillon.  And we're also planning on going with Elite, as well!
We've liked both experiences so far--people, etc. so we're excited.  I did just see a warning about Carillon posted today so I hope ours goes much better.  I'm going to try and forget about that one and also try to stay on top of things as far as ceremony, set-up, etc. goes.
Don't really have anything else booked yet--we do have a photographer; a friend of ours who is a photographer (has been doing it for years and is also in the DAPP program at UC).  We weren't going to ask her since we want her to enjoy the wedding but she said she wanted to which is great b/c her work is fantastic.

Our reception will be at Cox Arboretum in July.  It'll be beautiful.  We're having a butterfly theme.  I think we're going with Benham's Catering.

I am a Dayton bride, getting married 11/11/11.  We want to have our ceremony and reception at one venue.  We are having a bit of a tough time considering Novemeber weather and the fact that it gets dark so early.

So far we have tours schedule at Paul Brown Stadium and My Cincinnati Chapel.  We haven't found much in Dayton that can accomodate 200 guests.

I would love any suggestions you might have!

Shuster Center will accomodate. It is beautiful and the wedding pictures you will get are going to be amazing because of all the natural light.

Also the Presidential Club in Kettering can accomodate that number. Wonderful food, very nice looking venue and staff.
