HELP! Flowers?

I am looking for a good but not expensive florist. I am doing a variety of purple shades for my wedding and I would like that reflected in my flowers. If you could give me some suggestions about where to go and what to ask. Thanks!

    I havent looked into flowers yet but I was just recently in a wedding and the bride said she got hers from Secret Garden in Florence and that their rates were the best and I was in awe of her bouquets-- they were gorgeous and really full 
    That is the true season of love when we believe that we alone can love, that no one could have ever loved as much before, and that no one will ever love in the same way again

    We're using Blossoms florist.  They quoted us $900 for 1 bridal bouquet, 5 bridesmaids, 11 boutineers, and 30 (simple) centerpieces.  The owner allows you to go with her to the flower warehouse and actually pick out the types of flowers you want in the bouquets & centerpieces.

    You're going to get a lot of responses/recommendations on florists on this board. My recommendation is Two Little Buds, I still can't get over how amazingly beautiful my flowers were.

    I'm using Secret Garden.  I haven't seen their work yet, but they were so helpful and nice, had beautiful photos of work they had done, and the prices were great!

    We met with Designs by Tia & were very pleased! We are still waiting on a price estimate, but I've heard that she is very reasonable with her prices. Based on her meeting, how flexible/laid back she is, & all of the great ideas she came up with, I would definitely recommend her! If her prices are good for our budget, we're definitely going to use her!

    I'm using Benken. The service has been incredible so far (the initial consult was like a tv show design session), but they're not cheap.

    Kroger!  We went with the Newport Kroger.  We had 5 corsages, 3 bouts, 3 BM bouquets, and my bouquet.  We paid $200 and they were gorgeous and huge!
