FACEing Rave!!!!!!!!

OMG.  I was trying to wait to post until I saw pictures, but you gals really need to get to FACEing.  I went on Tuesday and had a blast!

I have always considered myself a non-girl.  I don't wear makeup regularly, and part of that is because I didn't know what I was doing.  Or I'd buy the wrong color.  Or I didn't want to spend the time.  Well, my excuses are gone now.

The first thing we did was a 5 minute face.  That was amazing.  I couldn't believe the difference 5 minutes makes.  I felt like a different person.  We then went on to do the smoky eye.  Hello!  I went for a "night out" look, and wow.  Even the girls who were into makeup (including a former home make up salesperson) learned new tricks.

I know that if y'all didn't know me, you would write me off as a vendor (and no, my account hasn't been hacked).  I really am just that impressed with the class.   I have a new confidence in myself.  Nancy really knows how to emphasize your best features.  I wish I had done this sooner.  It would make for a fantastic beginning to a bachelorette party (you'd learn and look hot for your night out!!).   And in case you're wondering, she doesn't sell anything.  She recommended items that were best for our face, from Laura Mercier to Wet and Wild.

I'll quit gushing now, but really.  If you have ever thought about doing something like this, go now!!   After the class, I only had one regret.  I wish I had done more with my wedding makeup.  I wanted to look natural, which was fine, but if I had know what I could have looked like.... oh well.

Nancy did my wedding makeup too, and I was blown out of the water for how flawless my face looked. I have melasma (brown spots on my cheeks and upper lip) and it was completely covered but didn't look like I had any foundation on!

I've seen her fb'ing about Faceing, and I think it would make a great party!  What a good idea :)
