I know this topic is totally jumping the gun, but last night FI and I had a really good talk about children and how soon after being married we would want to have a baby. It wasn't the first time we had talked about how many kids and about having kids, but it was the first time we had a serious real talk about how soon after the wedding and made it seem so real. It was super exciting, as I've never had this conversation with anyone before, but also kind of scary. I think these conversations are important to have before being married to make sure you're on the same page, etc. We decided we would wait til after my 30th bday in Jan before we would "try" I will def want to celebrate my 30th bday with some cocktails :-) I'll become a stepmom on our wedding day to a beautiful 3 yr old girl, but can't wait to have our own child. I do want to have some time after the wedding of where it's just my new husband and I and want to make sure I give myself enough time to enjoy marriage before bringing a baby into the mix. Anyone else had this conversation with their FI???? Are you scared? excited?
