Hi. FI and I have been having a bit of a cake dilemma. We were having trouble deciding between a traditional cake made with dairy products and one without dairy. We are Jewish and are having a kosher-style meal for our wedding reception. This means that we can't have a cake with dairy ingrediants.
To make a long story short, in the past the non-dairy cakes I had eaten were not very good. I was really worried. So, we checked out our options, having a cake tasting at the BonBonerie where we tried traiditonal dairy cakes. This past weekend we had a tasting of a non-dairy or parev cake at Maribelle Cakery. We LOVED our experience at Maribelle. Angela, the owner took great care of us, answered all our questions, tasting all their flavors of parev cake. They were delicious. Their cakes are all made fresh - never frozen and I could tell the difference. Angela worked with us on the price and she is going to deliver the cake for us herself on our wedding day.
We are excited to have Angela take care of us and provide our wedding cake.
Let me know if you have any questions about Maribelle Cakery.
