Wedding Cake North of 275

We are living in Fairfield Ohio having our wedding in Oxford, Ohio and looking for a bakery that isn't quite as far down the 275 loop as we find it insane to pay a $150 delivery fee. If anyone has any suggestions, that'd be awesome!

I'm not sure of her delivery fees, but we are using Teri with artrageous dessert! Her prices and cake were awesome!! Check out her website at artrageousdesserts.com!

Crossing my fingers I get Kumler Chapel on my date :( I grew up in oxford and have loved Kumler since I was a kid but I hate their reservation process of leaving a voicemail a year ahead!!
How about you? What are your oxford Plans?

and I did email artrageous desserts, thanks :))

we're about to throw our Oxford wedding plans out the window. we're having so much trouble with the Kumler booking. They allow mergers to book 13 months ahead, and every one else 12 months ahead so looks like the date I'm set on I won't get. Good luck with your oxford wedding though! If I wasn't terrified of bad weather I'd get the formal gardens too!

I am going with Jeana's Great Cakes. I met with her for the cake tasting near Tri-County mall and she told me she was from further west on 275 about 20 minutes (I am from the east side so she met me halfway). She bakes at her house but she promised she is very much a clean/neat freak and the cake samples were DELICIOUS and so moist!

Ugh.  I am so sorry  that you are having so much trouble getting the Church.  Let me know if you have any questions or anything.  I currently live in Oxford; maybe I could help

My daughter booked Kumler only because someone had cancelled.  I would keep trying and hope for a cancellation.
On another note.....we had to cancel Kumler because her fiance is getting deployed.  :(

The Flying Buttercream delivers to the area and they aren't very expensive.

We're using DK Cakes & Catering...they have a ridiculously outdated website, but I couldn't pass up the prices! I wasn't sold on them until I met Karen and tasted the cake- I mean it wasn't anything amazing but it was good- she was really honest and came to my house for the tasting which was neat.

We are paying $245 for a 4-layer cake for 150 people (plus some to save for after the honeymoon heh) including delivery and all that.
