Hair Extensions

Hello,

I'm looking to get real hair sewn in extensions. Anyone know of a good salon or person in Cincinnati? I'm looking for really life like hair.

Thanks!
Andrea

There's Sally's Beauty Supply Store, which is a chain, and then there's this store called Max Beauty Supply in Tri-County Mall.  Those are the two that come to mind.

Good that you are looking for real hair, since I don't recommend the synthetic kind.  The synthetic may feel like real hair and is 3x cheaper but it won't curl, style, or stay put like real hair does.  Real hair is also dyable to match your hair color.

I am using individual clip-ins.  They are human hair that can be dyed to match your hair color, and i bought them at Sally's for $75

    Thanks!

I'm debating to get clip in or sewn in. Do you have any pictures with your's in? Are they secure, easy to use?  I'm worried about them falling out or not being able to make them look right....

    Thanks in advance!

I went to Paul Mitchell's and they used clip ons for this bride that was there.  So it can't be bad if they're using it.  I guess this question would be best directed at a professional.  Give Sally Beauty Supply Stores a call!

sewn in hair extensions can be in the $500 and up range, I think.  Ask your everyday hairstylist what she recommends.  Mine said the clip ins work great, especially for an updo.  I figure with all that hairspray and bobby pins, it should stay all night.

2 of my cousins used real hair clip ins and they worked great.  matched seamlessly with their haircolor, and you couldn't even tell that they were wearing them.
