Dayton area recommended photographers

There are SO many to choose from, and I am sure some are just as good as others, and alot less expensive. I want someone who does a great job but doesnt overcharge. What are your recommendations or experiences??

I had my engagement shoot with Written Bliss Photography, whose wedding packages start at $800.  Her blog is at http://writtenblissphotography.com/blog.  She's really talented and imo her work is worth twice more.  She's based out of Columbus and she quoted her travel fee to Cincinnati to be only $75.  Check her out and let her know Thanh recommended you!

We are using someone that came as a recommendation.  This photog did the wedding of our friend and 3 of their friend's weddings.  And, they've all had good experiences.  He's a hobby photog, but he's been doing it for 15 years.  For us, he's arriving at the church 4 hours prior to the ceremony for all pics and staying at the reception pretty much until we tell him to leave.  He would also do the rehearsal if we wanted him to.  He said he takes as many as 600 shots, sometimes less, depending on the wedding.  You get an album that includes 1 of each shot.  All for $550.  Then, if you want prints or fancy enhancements you can order them.  But, they're so reasonable!  As an example, you can get 2 wallets for, I think, 50 cents.  He doesn't do it to make money.  He does it because he's passionate about it.  I can get you the info if you're interested.  He's actually out of Laura, OH.  But, he'll travel to the Dayton area.

  We are using Ashely Steele     www.shoesinthewindow.com She is VERY reasonable and has a great style!   Definitely worth checking out.  She is based out of Vandalia, OH (right by Dayton)

Christina LIttlleton...her work is amazing.  She's based out of the Dayton area, but we are using her for our wedding in Cinci.  She will work with you on pricing if you just ask.  She's awesome!!

Lisa White Photography! She is GREAT lots of fun and will make sure u get what u want! She basically makes a package for u to fit her needs the packages on her website are more like a guideline deffinately not set packages! She's located in Kettering/Centerville area

I've had a couple of friends book Robert Hogan at # 9 Images, and his pics are great.  Prices are very reasonable.  We are going to use him for our wedding too.

We are using Nixon Photography. Michelle Jackson is amazingly talented and they definitely give you A LOT for your money. You should 100% check them out!

I was THRILLED with our engagement photos!  She also did a shoot with Laura Leppert last wknd at the Hilton and the shots of that couple's wedding are breathtaking.  She is AWESOME!!
