Bakeries

My fiance and I are going to be doing cupcakes and a small cake for pictures for our wedding. Does any one have a cupcake/cake place they recommend?

Flying Buttercream, Abby Girl Sweets, and Take the Cake all do yummy cupcakes....its really just going to depend on your budget.

We are doing the same thing and using Tracy with Tres Belle.  Her cakes are DE-LICIOUS!

    Hello!

We're doing a small cake made by a family friend and then cupcakes.  On Saturday, we met with Angela at Three Tiers bakery in Bellevue, KY and put down a deposit on the spot because the cake was so good.  Someone else recommended her to me a few weeks ago on this board.

We also get free delivery and use of her cupcake stand because we booked in January. It's $1.95 per cupcake.  Her wedding cakes also looked great...and I'm sure they taste great too.

She's got a website and facebook page with pics if you'd like to check her out.

groupon and living social often have deals on cupcake places, I would sign up to the cincinnati one and wait for a bit if you aren't in a hurry.

Also, I remember reading from someone that in a case like this maybe don't mention at first that they're for a wedding--sometimes you can get it cheaper that way.

Agree.  Also, The Cakery in Dayton is amazing.  My mother started making inappropriate noises during the tasting.

We're getting our wedding cake from The Cakery, but we use Ele for everything else.
