Can you recommend a florist in Cincinnati?

I have officially started hunting for my wedding florist.  I live on the East Side of Cincinnati and am hoping to find someone close by.  My reception will be at the Madison in Covington, KY and they do provide a discount if I use the florist affiliated with the wedding mall.  However, every time I go to a Madison event, the representative from the florist shop is MIA.  (This makes me question their ability and work ethic, as Madison events are huge and produce many potential clients!)

 

If you’ve got any suggestions, they would be much appreciated!

I know what you mean about their florist-I went to one of their wedding events and the florist was a no-show then too! I had several reception venue tours this past week and one of the coordinators mentioned The Secret Garden in Florence KY being a really great florist, as well as the most inexpensive one she's had contact with. She gave us the name of Janet, saying she was a really great person to work with. I'd check them out!

Try Artistic Floral in Aurora. Emily Rose (the owner, friend of mine) did an AMAZING job on my bouques and table arrangements.

Go see Terri at A Gathering of Flowers.   She does consultations out of her home in Loveland, and we LOVED her.  Great lady, great work, and great service.  www.agatheringofflowers.com

My reception was at the Madison, and I used Sandy Schroeder. She delivered all the flowers to our hotel in downtown cincy, and the other flowers out in Okeana, OH. THen she brought the centerpiece flowers to the madison and set all those up. Oh yea and the stuff for the church. Flowers were gorgeous! Both my cousins and my brother is going to use her.

NillaWafer, are you going to go through every message board ever created accusing anyone who ever made any sort of recommendation of being  a vendor. I don't even sell flowers. I did plan a wedding once. I was offering advice.
