**kelklump**

Hi! Our wedding is this Saturday and it's calling for rain :(  and I wanted to find out where you went for your pics inside? I know one of the locations was the Springfield Suites hotel, but there was another place where you, FI and wedding party were upstairs like on a balcony/atrium? I don't know where that is and if we have to do pics inside, I really would love to get them done there b/c I loved how yours turned out!

Please let me know!
Thanks!!!

Just wanted to throw a thought out there... when my best friend got married it called for a chance of rain as well.  We got her an ivory "wedding" umbrella, which ultimately is a nice looking golf-sized umbrella.  It didn't rain all day until we went out to get pictures =(  We pulled out the umbrella and I must say that those are the best pictures from the entire day and really made, what seemed at the time to be sad weather, into one of the best memories.  She actually has that picture framed on the wall in her house!  Not saying you should necessarily plan to have all your photos still done outside, as I think indoor or on a balcony will be just as beautiful, but the umbrellas are relatively cheap and could make for a fun accessory =)

    Congratulations and best wishes!!!

Just throwing some ideas out there- Contemporary Art Center (I think this is where Kelklump went) allows you to use their lobby.  Just call ahead.  Also, Cincy Museum Center does this as well in their Rotunda, I think.  If you want a more natural setting, maybe try the Krohn Conservatory.

I have also seen some really great, fun pictures taken in favorite restaraunts and bars.  If you think creatively, you might come up with some cool places.

I don't have any suggestions on indoor places - but I do agree that you can get some amazing pics in rainy weather! The photographer I am using had some awesome pics in his portfolio of all the girls under unbrellas... and the rain clouds made for an amazing background!

Hope everything goes well - Let me know how that Embassy Suites reception works out - I get more excited for my own every day! :)

UGH I typed a huge response and its gone. UGH bad day - I used Dixie Terminal - we didnt ask permission, some have had trouble getting in there. Just an FYI I also used the Merchantile Library. I did not use the CAC and you need to remember that the Shepards fairy murals are up. Not my idea of good wedding photos. Try the hotels - they have great little nooks and crannies. The Krohn charges a fee now - used to not Most museums do as well.

Thanks Kel!! I LOVED your pics in the Dixie Terminal - I'm going to call tomorrow to see if we can come - either way, I'm going to try! :)

    Wish me luck! :)
