Does anyone know about or used the Bell Event Centre??

Just wanted to know if anyone has worked with the bell event centre or is having/had their wedding there. I am looking at the website but there doesn't seem to be a ton of info available. Does anyone know what they normally charge? Any info and feedback is much appreciated!

I looked into them when I first started planning.  I don't remember a whole lot about their pricing, but I do know there was a $10,000 minimum on Saturdays.

Yeah its pretty expensive. There wasn't a lot of room for the bride to get ready which I didn't like and you have to have cocktails outside so if the weather is bad you have to pay for warmers and a tent I think. It was very pretty but for me the cost wasn't worth it.

Hello! Yes I'm getting married there in Aug 2012 and I'm so excited. I've heard nothing but positive things from every vendor who has worked with them, and from every person who has ever been to or had a wedding there. Apparently the food is amazing. The people I've worked with thus far have been incredibly nice and helpful.

For our saturday wedding, there is a minimum $15,000 spending requirement. This can include food, venue for ceremony, cocktail and reception, bar, parking, etc. They have a nice list of ammenities. I think food is about $40-$50 per person and bar is around $25 per person...depending on what you want. This was for plated meals...they have cheaper buffet options.

    Hope this helps!

And yeah, the one downside I didn't love is the idea of having to rent a tent for the outside cocktail hour if it rains. Here's to hoping it's sunny that day.

We are getting married and having our reception there October 21, 2011.  If you have it on a Friday night, the price is MUCH cheaper, and includes beer and wine.  We are only paying $44/ per person for everything..appetizers, a buffet ( their food is amazing), and beer and wine.  I, too, am not a huge fan of having to have cocktail hour outside, however FI and I love it there so much that is wasn't an issue.  Their Friday minimum for 2011 is $7500, and I believe the Christy who works there said it's going up to $7800 for 2012.  If you need more info let me know!

I got married there two years ago and people still talk about the food. It rained on our day and we did not have to rent a tent. They just had everyone step aside while they "flipped" the room between ceremony and reception. It was wonderful, I could not have been happier.
