My friend's wedding is there this summer. I believe it is around $8000 for rental of the place for the weekend and then you can bring in any caterer you want. She is also bringing in liquor with the caterer so I know that's possible. They book up really fast and I hear the communication isn't the quickest as you've already noticed it seems. Sorry I'm not positive on the details, I only know what I have infered from her planning so far. Good luck!

You should try contacting Mary Steinman at 859-291-2739 or 859-630-1053
Marcia is the owner and a bit more difficult to contact, but Mary does the bookings and everything for the family. I know that they include the tent, tables, and chairs in the cost. You can bring in any vendor you'd like for anything (caterer, florist, etc.). When you rent the venue, you rent the entire property from Friday to Sunday. That means that you can also use the houses to stay in.

AWESOME venue!  I shot a wedding there last weekend and it is the most eclectic venue I have ever seen...Photographer's DREAM!  Good luck with your planning!

I got married there earlier this summer and it is worth every penny that you pay for it!!!!! It felt like you were in a little piece of heaven and actually made me feel relaxed during the craziness!!!  I was a little overwhelmed with the price at first but it is so worth it when you have everything finalized. I was a little worried about decorations for the tent but you honestly do not need much.  They have the tent decorated with lights and ivy. I ended up taking most of mine back since my centerpieces were bright and all the other things I had.
