Outside wedding photos in late November?

Hi Everyone,

I hope your planning is going well.  I'm looking for opinions and ideas for my wedding.  I am getting married November 27th of this year.  It is an evening wedding and though at first I thought I wouldn't mind having all my photos insides (due to possible inclement weather and darkness), now I am thinking I would like some pictures outside.  We do not want a bunch of dead bushes, tress and flowers as the background however.  Also, we (my groom and I) will not be seeing each other before the ceremony so the pics before will be of the girls and guys separately, then after the ceremony (about 7:45ish) we will have the full group.  I know it would be easier to do all the pics beforehand but we want to see each other for the first time as I walk down the aisle to meet him.

So, if you have any ideas of places that may have fall flowers or colorful trees still in bloom or with leaves in late fall, please let me know.  Our wedding and reception are in Northern Kentucky.

Thanks!!

Not sure if it's too far, but how about Spring Grove?  BEAUTIFUL all seasons!

Lots of the local parks in NKY are pretty during the fall.

We did our e-pics at Ault Park just before Thanksgiving last year, so pretty close to the same time of year, and our pictures turned out really nice.

Devou Park.  If you don't like the natural background that day, you can use the lit city skyline.  If you don't mind crossing the river, you might want to see if you can use Krohn Conservatory for some of the before the ceremony pictures.

The before hand pics of just the guys and just the ladies would be wonderful at any of those locations... but at 7:45 at the end of november, it will be dark so all of those places will be closed. I understand about not wanting to see each other before the ceremony though. We are doing pictures before, and my mom is not happy about it. Good luck!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.  I will look into Ault Park, Spring Grove, Devou and other NKY parks.  Thanks again!  I really appreciate it!

I am getting married November 27 also! We are in the same situation...I don't want to see my fiance until I am walking down the aisle.  We are going to get as many pics done before hand with the girls, guys and family and everyone together afterwards.  Fountain square might be lit up enough for photos? I am not positive though. Where is your reception?

Our reception is at Receptions South in Erlanger, KY.  Drees Pavillion at Devou Park has a wedding that day so the Overlook area will be used for that.  We could go up to our old high school which is in KY but overlooks Cincinnati.  Also, it will be free for us...which is always nice.  Where is your reception?  What are your colors?
