I am just too excited to put this off! My daughters and I went looking at wedding gowns yesterday...for
my upcoming wedding. We had been told that there were only two places in town to go if you're a larger bride. Petals and Promises was our first stop. The woman helping us was fabulous!! She asked a couple of pertinent questions about what I preferred in a gown, what size I was, and then started pulling out dresses. Before I knew it, she had 8 gowns pulled and was guiding me to a dressing room. She looked at all the gowns for a moment, then pulled one out of the batch and said she thought this one would look beautiful on me. She was RIGHT!!! She helped me slip into it and fastened me up. When I looked in the mirror, I had to gasp. It was gorgeous and made me look 20 lbs lighter!! When I went out to show it to my daughters, they all oohed and ahhed and cried!!! This was IT...THE GOWN!!! I tried the rest on, but nothing compared to that first one. This lady knew her stuff! When I put it on again at the end, she began pulling out veils and tiaras and jewelry. In each case, the first thing she tried was absolutely perfect! To top it off, she treated me with respect and made me feel like I was the most important bride she'd ever helped! We ended up getting the whole package there and didn't even bother going anywhere else. Thanks Petals and Promises!! You get 5 stars in my book and I'll refer everyone to you!!!
