I got married in October 2006 and wedding prices have gone up since then but I thought it would be helpful for those newly engaged brides to see how much we spent on our wedding. We paid for the entire wedding ourselves.

We didn't go on a honeymoon. We tipped the florist, band, violinist, caterer, and photographer on top of the listed prices. We were happy with all our vendors but we wished we paid more for a photographer and the cake. The cake was very small and I'm sure we would have got a larger cake if we spent $200 more on it. Also, our photography package didn't include a wedding album and I wish we spent twice as much on the photography considering it's all you have left over after the wedding.
