Anyone have reviews on all inclusive resorts in Cancun? I have looked at Secrets, Dreams, Excellence and Paradisus. Thanks!!

  • You should read through the pages of the board that are available because there are bunches in just those pages.

  • We honeymooned at Secrets Maroma Beach from May 31 - June 7th and loved it.  Detailed review in bio.
  • We went to Excellence Playa Mujeres and it was AMAZING!
  • I would definitely suggest Secrets Maroma Beach for your honeymoon. It is one of my favorite resorts and it is so romantic. It’s an adults-only, all-inclusive that offers fabulous amenities like 24-hour room service, unlimited premium drinks and delicious gourmet meal. They also have a great spa with a ton of treatments. Be sure to get a Swedish massage, it’s the best. If you want to make your honeymoon extra special, I would check out their honeymoon package. It comes with some great extras including a discount at the spa and free anniversary nights. I hope you enjoy your honeymoon.
  • We are staying at the Valentine Imperial in Riveria Maya (20 miles from Cancun)and trhough tripadvisor and this board we have heard GREAT things. The places that you are looking have gotten amazing reviews. But realy look into tripadvisor.com I feel they have great reviews. We have also hear that The Royal Hideaway is AMAZING in Playa Del Carmen, my good friend and his wife went there for their honeymoon. Best of luck

  • Check out the El Dorados by Karisma www.karismahotels.com also check out AM Resorts (Secrets, Dreams, Sunscape, etc.) Zoetry at www.zoetryresorts.com
  • We stayed at the Valentin Imperial. It was awesome. Check out tripadvisor. It was mostly couples and no children. 24 hour room service, beautiful beach. We got a free upgrade to a swim up suite. The staff was great. We never left the resort the week we were there.

  • Be warned, I have spent a lot of time looking for resorts in southern mexico. We were really considering the Royala Hideaway PlayaCar but then found out that the beach is receeding and to prevent it, there are GIANT, black barriers very close to the shore in the ocean all over the place. You really cant swim out, they are terrible eyesores. So if you are looking for a resort with a good beach, double check to make sure this isnt the case!
  • We just got back from the Valentin Imperial Maya in Playa Del Carmen and I would HIGHLY recommend it!!!!!!!!!!  Everything was absolutely wonderful!!!  The place is extremely well maintained, the service is very friendly and we couldn't have asked for more!!!   My husband and I would love to go back someday if we can afford it...definitely look into it!!

  • I have been to the El Dorado twice now, I have never been happier with an all inclusive resort.
