Le Blanc in Cancun vs. Execellence Playa Mujeres.

Both of these look amazing. Le Blanc would be a bit less, more in the mix of things. Excellence is a bit further removed from things. Anyone have any experiences at either of these two? Which would you pick? We want relaxation, good food, beautiful beach and pool, comfy rooms.

My friend has been to Le Blanc a few times and as much as she travels says it's one of her best trips and won't stay anywhere else in Mexico.

Le Blanc is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!  The hotel/rooms-gorgeous!  The pool is fantastic, overlooking the ocean.  The food is good, and the staff is super helpful.  We will definitely be going back to Le Blanc some day.

LeBlanc is rate #1 on tripadvisor.com and part of Palace Resorts.  I have not stayed at LeBlanc but have stayed at other sister Palace Resorts and they were all great. LeBlanc is suppose to be the best of the group.I have met many people who have stayed at LeBlanc and they all say it is superior to other resorts. I would definitely go there.

I'm also still debating on where to stay, excellence being my first choice right now. I just looked up Le Blanc but did not see is this all inclusive also a Adults Only??

Okay, nevermind, I just found it - it is adults only! Looks very nice but seems to be a awfully big focus on the golf which we wouldn't be interested in. We just compared notes and are going to stick with Excellence! Good luck and I'm sure either place will be fabulous!!! Are you booking through a TA? or using a online booking? Just curious b/c I had to basically fire my travel agent because she could not even come close to the online prices!

I showed my fiance Le Blanc and he had the same reaction...looks beautiful but not as nice as Excellence. Those terrace hydrotub rooms at Excellence REALLY sold him on the place...lol. Plus we are looking to get away from it all and relax...not party it up on hotel strip. We are booking through the hotel. We called on Saturday and they reassured us those are the best rates we will find and they are having a sale right now on their rooms. We also found out they dont take a deposite on your credit card right away, though they do keep it on file. So if you cancle due to wanting to go elsewhere or need to change travel times there is no refunding and no fees if it is 8 days or more before your arrival.

We went to the LeBlanc and it was incredible.  There is actually not a golf course, so it was not mentioned to us at all while we were there.  The resort is located pretty close to the Cancun strip, but the resort is a spa resort and very soothing and relaxing.
