1) We started in Amsterdam, then to J'burg, then out into the bush for safari, then to Paris and finially NYC 2)  3.5 weeks.  but 1 week of that was for our OOT wedding in NJ 3)  we paid 4)  Yep 5) we went right after.

1. We went to Peru to sightsee and visit H's family.  Then we went to Jamaica.2. Two weeks total.3. We paid.  4. Well, of course I would have liked to stay gone for a month, but both places were great and we got to do exactly what we wanted.5. I think it was 5 days?  3) I think my parents did in the end.4) Yes, it was!5) We went the day after the wedding.  But we didn't have to get on a plain or anything.  We really did walk there.  If we had to fly I would've wanted to delay it a day or two.

We originally wanted Hawaii, but we fell in love with Fiji.. the private waterfront bures.. the culture.. how it's halfway across the world..etc.. but we definitely still plan on going to Hawaii at some point. SUMMERKUTIE: Where in Fiji are you going? This was another destination for us. Are you staying at an over the water bungalow? This was my dream to do that, so were trying to pick places that have them because I don't want to stay in a regular hotel. If were paying to see the islands, I want to stay ON the island, not a hotel room....:-)

Michigangirl2009: We are staying at Qamea Resort & Spa. Check it out: http://www.qamea.com/We're not staying in an overwater bungalow, but we will have our own waterfront Honeymoon Bure. (so definitely not a regular hotel room!) The Honeymoon Bure has a private courtyard with outdoor shower and jacuzzi with waterfall, a living room, bedroom, and an outdoor porch with a daybed and hammock. They also have Honeymoon Villas and Premium Villas. The resort only accomodates up to 36 people at a time so it's private and romantic. Food is included, and a complimentary bottle of champagne and couples massage at the spa are included if you're on your HM. I've mentioned before on this board, that what ultimately sold us was their Honeymoon Beach excursion. They drop you off by boat to their private island with a picnic lunch and bottle of wine and come back and pick you up later. If you're still interested let me know and I'll give you the info we used to book and who we worked with. HTH! :0)

Michigangirl2009:Flying to Bora Bora does take a loooooong time, thats why we wanted to break up the trip by going to Hawaii also...but its totally worth it. French Polynesia is a once in a lifetime trip. We actually over splurged in Bora Bora and we're staying at the Four Seasons, in their overwater bungalow w/plunge pool. I'd recommend doing the Fiji route because Bora Bora is a very expensive vacation and its not just the hotels. If you're not prepared for it, it can totally ruin your vacation. 1)  We are doing 2 honeymoons.  First one is to Disney World.  Second one is a cruise, not sure to where exactly yet.2) Honeymoon 1 will be 1 week, leave on Sunday come back following Sunday.  Honeymoon 2 will depend on which cruise we officially pick.3) We are paying for everything but the hotel on honeymoon 1, the hotel was a gift from FI's parents through their Bluegreen account.  Honeymoon 2 will be all us.4) Yes when you combine them.  This way we get tropical, we get fun, we get relaxing and on the go all together.5) Honeymoon 1 we leave the day after.  Honeymoon 2 won't be for like 4 or 5 months after.
