I preferred to have a different negligee per day so I couldn't spend much on one piece. Though I did splurge on one piece which was around $75. The rest were just simple slips that I got on sale at Victoriassecret dot com -- around $22 each. I had a total of about 5 pieces and we were gone for 10 days. The variety was really for DH's benefit. I also shopped the sale racks at VS -- I'd go at least once a week for the months leading up to it. I'm a great sale shopper as I am patient in that sense.

Honestly, I took about 6 pieces, one for each night. I bought 2 specifically for the honeymoon, the other 4 I already had. I think my two pieces were probably about $120. Being someone who does wear lingerie, I would say only buy it if you are going to wear again and again afterwards. Don't spend a lot of money if you don't typically wear much.  Honestly, I think I only ended up wearing about half of it, due to, er, reasons of urgency.

I just went shopping for my HM lingerie on Monday! I ended up with one outfit for each night of our HM. I did get VS gift certificates at my bridal shower as well as 2 sets of lingerie. So, I only spent about $16 of my own!If you don't have gift certificates, I wouldn't spend too much. I really believe that the lingerie is mostly for us girls to feel pretty in. I asked FI what he would like me to wear and he said, "something that is easy to get off." Oy!
