Couples Swept Away Negril vs. Iberostar Grand Rose Hall Montego Bay

I'm hoping to hear about your experiences at either or perhaps both of these resorts.  My FI and I are torn between the two for our honeymoon in August of next year.  Thanks!

We went on our HM to Couples Swept Away...it was perfect. It was the most relaxing vacation I've ever been on. We flew into Montego Bay and the resort transported us from there to the resort. I personally would not stay in Montego Bay. It's too much of a city, I think. I'm probably just partial because we went to CSA and loved it!

My husband and I honeymooned at Iberostar Grand Rose Hall August 16-22. We LOVED it. The resort is about 15-20 minutes outside of Montego Bay in Rose Hall. Its close to excursions if you want to do them. The resort is new (opened in January) and it was beautiful and clean. The staff is so friendly and helpful. You have a butler assigned to your room who helps you book excursions, make dinner reservations, stock your bar, etc. As honeymooners, we were upgraded to an oceanfront suite. Our butler also arranged a romantic dinner on the balcony and we came back the first night to our room decorated with roses and candles with a warm bath drawn. My birthday also happened to be the second night of our honeymoon and they decorated our room again. The food is pretty good for an all inclusive and the drinks are great. They use top shelf liquors. The beach is nice and there are beach loungers and beach beds. Check out trip advisor for more reviews and pictures. I would HIGHLY recommend it.
