Anyone looking into this place or been here??? Any thoughts on the hotel and antigua in general would be great!

    I am getting married in Antigua at the Sandals!! We leave in less than 3 weeks! I only looked at a few resrots and opted for Sandals because the rooms looked lovely and the beach is phenominal!

    We're going to Sandals Antigua for our HM in March.  Our TA had great things to say about it and I have a friend who has been to most of the Sandals resorts and recommended this one.

    My FI and I stayed in the resort next to Cocos in June.  We did walk around the cottages they have and they looked really cute.  Everyone has there own cottage and an outside shower.  We had a great time in Antugua, the only complaint we had with the area these hotels are in is that the water was really cloudy.  I'm not sure if it was the time of year or if thats normal for that area.  As long as you venture out of the resort and go on some excursions you will find some amazing beaches.  If you do decide to go check out Creole Cruises, we had a great time on this day excursion.  Good Luck planning!

    We stayed at the Jolly Beach Resort.  It was nice but i would not recommend it for a honeymoon.  The bed was really awful, just super hard.  We decided to do the AI and the alcohol quality was kind of poor so we couldn't drink too much, the same with the food.  We talked to some couples who stayed at Cocos and they said good things about it.  Also, beware if you are planning on visiting Barbuda while you are there.  It is a seasonal island so depending on the time of year you go the only 2 resorts on the island are shut down, we found this out the hard way.  If you have any other questions feel free to ask!

    Coco's is the hotel where that honeymoon couple was attacked (and at least one of them brutally murdered) in the middle of the night in their bungalow. http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?id=5470698&page=1 Certainly wouldn't be on my list of potentials, that's for sure! :(
