Getting stuff done

So we have done a lot of wedding stuff. We put more money for the reception, we gotour toasting glasses, booked the honor guard, bought flower girl presents and got kids toys for the reception as well as found the spot for pics.I am still freaking out though, I don't get it! I feel like there is only 4 months left and what happens If I forget something?! We haven't ordered our invites yet even. ( when is everyoneailing them out?) I haven't really found a hair dresser. I haven't met with the videographer, the DJ or photographer regarding final selections or chose our entire meal! We have the entrees down but other then that nada. Am I the only one?!

Don't worry. You have plenty of time. The only reason I have a lot of stuff already booked (although, not planned entirely, except the food) is I live OOT and can only get back to town a couple times before our wedding.

We had a thread about the mailing of invitations rather recently (either yesterday or the day before).

Just try and step back and take a deep breath. I think you will be fine. Maybe I am not freaking out so much because I have had 2 years to get everything together. I ordered my invites and got them in already they only took like 2 weeks to come in. I am getting married the 28th and we will be mailing them out 1st week of May. I have gotten alot of the stuff done that you are freaking out about, but i think you should tak one thing at a time and try to breath everything will fall into place. I know this is easier said than done but try not to worry so much, like i said everything will fall into place.

bbl, you are doing great.  I too have moments like you where I think holy cow, I am forgetting something, then I realize I am okay.  I think it is the hurry up and wait that goes with wedding planning.  We are all getting so close now.  Yikers, am I first out of this group of July 2012 brides?

Thanks guys, it is a big help! We have been engaged 4 years so all the big stuff has been done for awhile. People teased us for booking everything so far in advance. Our photographer whom we back 3.5 years ago we signed a contract saying they would set the price then. We payed 1700 now for a base rate they are charging 5000. So that worked out well!

I am getting married on July 7, and I am really feeling the pressure for some reason the last two weeks I have been kinda overwhelmed with wedding stuff. I am pretty organized, but I don't know what happened..I think it is all of the home improvement projects that we decided to start that have to be finished before the big day too....We are getting married in the backyard by the pool. Thanks for letting me vent ladies!! We are sending our invites out at the 3 month mark because we have a lot of out of state guests.
