St Barts

So we want to go to St Barts for our honeymoon but its hard to figure out exactly how to get there, I mean there's suggestions and stuff on websites but it still seems a little confusing.
Does anyone have any recomendations? Hotels, airlines, rentals, packages, really anything would help? Thanks!!!

We honeymooned there and have been back once more since then (trip number 3 is planned for next May!).  

You have two options for getting there:  

1. Fly to SXM and then either ferry to SBH (not recommended as the trip can be quite rough) or fly either St. Barth Commuter or Winair

2. Fly to SJU and take Tradewind Aviation (this is the most expensive option as one way is more than round trip on the other carriers from SXM)

What are you looking for in regard to accommodations?  There are so many options so do you want a luxury hotel or private villa?  Also, what time of year and what budget? We have done private villas on both trips and will again next year as well. Villas are actually less expensive than the hotels.  We have used St. Barth Properties for each trip and love working with them.
