We are going on our honeymoon the end of October. Our budget it 5000 we want to do excursion (like swimming with dolphins , seeing some type of natural beauty [waterfalls rainforest whatever]) we want things to do all day but also not feel like we are on Spring Break   we also want an AI resort and something with room service

Just kidding. There are hundreds if not thousands of choices. Do you know a specific country or island you want to go to? Check out TripAdvisor.com for lots of reviews, "The best of" resorts and more information.

We went to Valentin Imperial Maya in Riviera Maya, Mexico. It's a fantastic AI that caters to couples. Mixed age groups, so it does not feel like spring break. There are a ton of great excursion sites nearby, including Xel-Ha (a natural inlet you can swim with fish at), Xplor (ziplining, ATV driving, cave swimming) and Xcaret (a cultural park). Plus the Mayan ruins (Tulum nearby, a few more scattered around).

If AI is a must for you, you're looking at Mexico or the Caribbean. I have not been to an AI, but many ladies here have and I'm sure will have great advice.

Besides the AI, what you described sounds just like Hawaii. We had an absolute blast there and the natural beauty is almost unparalleled. They just don't have AIs, but if that' isn't a must-have for you, you could probably do a fairly nice trip there for around $5000 (look into renting a condo over a resort would save a TON) and it meets all your other requirements.

With that budget, you have a lot of options.  We will be going to Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica (which I only recommend if you can get a deal like the one they have going on right now), and we are spending right under $4K for everything, including excursions, dinner on the beach, and spa treatments.  An extra thousand would give you a room upgrade to concierge or butler service.

If you have some more specific requirements, the ladies on here might be able to give you some additional guidance.  One thing about Sandals we're excited about is doing a prelim scuba dive course, and then dives are included.  Most resorts don't include that, but if you aren't into it then you shouldn't go to one where you are essentially paying for it, KWIM?  Any more must-haves on your list?

We are going to Maui, Hawaii at the end of May this year. So far we only spent $1064 for round trip tickets from Portland to Hawaii, $675 for renting a condo for 8 days, and $350 for rental car. Our budget is $4000. We will have plenty of our budget left to do activities and eat good food . We prefer not to do all inclusives because we save some money by staying at a condo we rent from vrbo.com .

costa rica, belize, mexico, thailand, philippines, colombia.....the list goes on and on.   your requirements are very broad. if you can narrow it down a bit ......
