Marriage License! Check!

FI and I got our marriage license this morning.  I'm so excited, its really happening! YAY.. anyone else get theirs yet?  You have 60 days in the state of NY which is nice! I was worried they would find some issue with our previous divorces -but everything went great!

Yeah, we got ours the 2nd week of May.  They are also good fo 60 days in MA.  I was surprised that it was the easiest part of the whole process!  It definitely made everything so real!

Congrats! We are getting ours today at 4pm, came into work super early so I can get off early. CA is 90 days ahead of time and $70. We are gonig out to dinner tonight to celebrate :-)

We still need to do this.  I just keep not thinking about it.  We have to get ours in Iowa since our ceremony is there.  Its twice as much as in Nebraska and IA has a 3 day waiting period.  Its good for like 6 months though.  In NE you just go in and it takes like 10 minutes to get it. All you need is your ID and SScard.  In IA you have to both go and bring a witness, all of your id's, all of you birth certificates & SScards and have it notorized and then wait 3 days before you go back and pick it up.  Very annoying!

yay!  We got ours on Tuesday!  It was ridiculous--they require you to have an appointment, so we had one.  We got there about 15 minutes early and there were seriously like 6 couples waiting to get married there, and one other couple just getting the license, and only 2 people working in the office.  Who knew that a Tuesday would be such a popular day for courthouse weddings?  Sheesh.

We just needed our birth certificates, divorce decrees, and our photo ID.  Then filled out some paperwork - paid $40.. waited for them to write up the license which took like 20 minutes - then  we signed and left with license in hand.  There is a 24 hour waiting period before you can actually get married.  Not too bad of a process.

We did ours last week! It was so easy, we both just brought our birth certificates and licence. Plus there was no one else there so it took like 10 min. Oh and then I forgot to sign the check and no one noticed except the bank. So I had to go back the next day to sign it. lol

Yep! Got ours a couple of weeks ago. 5 day waiting period and it's good for six months. YAY!!

Congrats! We still have to get ours...in CT they're good for 65 days so we really can do it whenever now. Just have to plan some time to get out of work early.

We applied for ours last Saturday. In MN they're good for 6 months. It's $110 but only $40 if you go through premaritial counseling.

I think she said we should get it in 10 days.

Goodness... In TX it is 30 days, so we still have to wait for another few weeks! Though I am pretty sure I saw something that said it was aroudn $50, and discounted from that with premarital counselling.

When should we get ours if its only good for 30 days and our wedding is July 21! We're getting married about an hour and half away from home but there is no waiting period!
