Orlando Honeymoon

We are looking at places and orlando came up and am not to sure how i feel about it. We just went to orlando in aug for vacation and dont know if we want to go again so soon. So besides disney does anyone know what else there is to do. We want to do universel thing if we go there but what else. We did a little of downtown disney but not much( FI was sick that night from the heat from golfing that day) We want to do legoland Fi is a lego kid. But besides that i dont know what else to do.

I know theres restrants but noting else. I have googled stuff but noting jumps out at me. I do want to do some disney romantic things we both loved our week at disney so why not. Any suggestions of things in orlando. Also hotels that you were at that was nice. Trying to stay about 100-150 dollars a night so disney resorts may be out.

Re: Orlando Honeymoon

  • Why not consider going to LA. They have Disney Land and Universal Studios there. I personally would want to try something different. But I think in reality it is up to you. If you are looking forward to and want to go to Orlando go for it. There is a lot to do and see there.

Sea World, Universal Studios, Lots of activities from Dinner Theatre (so much fun!) to go karting. Depends on what you are interested in.

Lake Eola and downtown is a nice afternoon trip.  Park avenue has an old town charm with tons of great restaurants and shops.

You can take a lake tour though Winter Park.  You can see old Florida and some breathtaking mansions.

We have some of the best outlet malls in the state.

I-Drive has some great interactive exhibits.  Titanic and dinner theaters and there is a new CSI show that just opened up.
    ROCK IS KING!!
  • Not sure on our budget since we are doing our taxes and useing our refund on our tickets and hotel then saveing up till them for everything else. Last year between the two of use we got 4,000 back i think i may be over estameting.

We are considering new orleans but cant decide and just want to get a look at whats in both places. its a hard decision.
