Aruba - The Divi or Bucuti and Tara?

I'm having a REALLY tough time deciding between the two! The Bucuti has the luxury and romantic factor that we want but the Divi is all inclusive which I think will be helpful money wise. I'm not sure if I want to give up the luxury or the AI. Can anyone speak to the pro's/con's of either? Any info would be really helpful! Thank you!!!

There are so many amazing restaurants in Aruba that most people don't even do AI.  The Bucuti is MUCH nicer than the Divi.  The Divi rooms are nothing special and are very basic but most are directly on the beach which is a plus.  The Bucuti is adults only which is definitely great for honeymoons and like I said, much nicer.  Both are situated on a good stretch of beach.  

If you are still set on AI, take a look at the Riu.  It is luxurious (if you go for a suite or mini suite....they aren't that much more expensive) and they have really great food.  Plus you get a bar in your room with beer and 4 types or liquer.  

To break it down again:

Divi

Pros:  Right on beach

          All Inclusive

          Access to the Tam resort as well and the casino

Cons:  Rooms are not very nice if you want something special for your honeymoon

Bucuti:  

Pros:    Adults Only

             Really nice rooms

             

Cons:  Not All Inclusive  (but soooo many restaurants to try in Aruba!)

Remember to check out the Riu if you want a little of both worlds.........there are a few bad reviews out there but don't believe them!

I can only speak for Bucuti and Tara since we stayed there on our honeymoon, but the hotel was wonderful. It is right on the beach and the hotel is top notch. 

While we were in Aruba we ate at Windows on Aruba, which is located within the Divi Resort Complex. The complex is massive by the way and there seems to be many different locations offered by them. So some rooms may be on the beach, others may not be. Regardless, their restaurant is wonderful and was one of our favorite meals of the trip. Good luck and I'm sure you'll love Aruba wherever you stay.

there is NO need for AI when in aruba - the food is way too good there
