Atlantis ~ Paradise Island, Bahamas

Morning all!!!!!
We are trying to plan our honeymoon, and both have always wanted to go to Atlantis. Does anyone know of any great package deals? We are willing to stay 5 nights instead of 7 if the price is better, which I am sure it will be!
We are getting married Friday, 8.27.10 and ideally would like to leave on Sunday, 8.29.10

My friends went there for their honemoon last year and they LOVED it. They had a blast, the location was beautiful, as was their room. I think they will plan to go back as soon as they can! Enjoy it, I hope it's great.

I have a different opinion. I stayed there with DH (in one of hte nicer rooms) and really didn't care for it. It was TEEMING with kids, the food and service were so-so at best and frankly, I felt it was terribly overpriced and basically felt ripped off.

We loved the atlantis! I'm so jealous! They offer an all inclusive package their now, but we didn't feel it was worth it for the amount we ate.

We're getting married at the all-inclusive RIU Paradise Island, next to Atlantis.  The Riu was completely remodeled in November 2009.  You can visit Atlantis, pay for a day pass to use every thing, and admission is free in the evenings.  We will definitely visit, but our hotel is more affordable and doable for our guests.  We also wanted an all-inclusive option.  Good luck!
