Honeymoon destinations within driving distance of Louisiana?

getting married next June and starting to look at honeymoon destinations for next summer, any suggestions for fun and relaxing spots within driving distance from south louisiana?

I'd suggest somewhere in the panhandle of FL but it will probably be hit with oil soon so I'm not sure how much you'll enjoy your vacation there.  You could do Chicago but that's not very romantic in my opinion.  If's about a ten to twelve hour drive to Disney so you could go there for your honeymoon or you could go to the other side of FL and stay in Daytona Beach or if you want a two day drive, you could go to Miami or Key West.

Sanibel Island & Captiva Island off the western coast near Ft Myers. Lovely islands, reminded me of Hawaii when I was there. (Disclaimer: no idea what the oil slick will do or not do by then).

You could also post this on your local board for Louisiana (see left side) and the brides there might have some additional recommendations for you. Many people are taking driving vacations due to the economy.
