My FI and I want to go to Hawaii for our HM. I'm thinking of going to the Big Island and Kauai. I would like to stay at a nice hotel with lots of amenities such as a lazy river or a pool bar, etc. I would like to stay in a nicer room on the beach on each island and do a lot of outdoor activites for 7-10 days. We live in NJ, so I know airfare will be hefty. We're planning on taking about $1500 in spending money for food and outdoor type activites that weren't planned from the start and pre-paid. Is 6,000 a realistic budget or do I need to think of some creative ways of adding a couple more thousand to the budget, such as a honeymoon registry?
