Hi ladies!
I just got married over the weekend and had such a blast. I noticed a few other March '12 brides gave some pieces of advice, so I thought I would too!!
This is a really tough one, but I'd like to recommend trying to avoid looking at the weather forecast as MUCH as possible.
I made the mistake of checking the 14-day forecast... which indicated "Cloudy" on my big day. The weekend before, the websites were showing absolutely beautiful days (mid to high 50s and sunny Fri-Sun). Totally got my hopes up!!! By Tuesday last week, 3/31 made it back to "Cloudy"... then Wednesday pretty much showed "Rain" all day. In the end, we had pouring rain all morning but the rain stopped by the time the ceremony started.. and it was in the 40s all day. (yes, it was rather cold!)
Honestly, the weather didn't bother me one bit. You are on Cloud Nine regardless of the weather and you just have to enjoy all the details and the company of those who have made the trip to see you marry your best friend!!
So again, I know it's hard... but try not to hop on the Weather Roller Coaster ride!!
On a side note, everything will come together and all this hard work you've put in will totally pay off. Never stop smiling (you probably won't want to anyway) because you know there is always someone with a camera snapping away at you!!
