All About Honeymoons company

Hi there,
Just wondering if anyone has heard of or used All About Honeymoons travel agency? We are getting married in Hawaii and one of the dj's I interviewed suggested we use them to help with our travel plans. I have the Hawaii office, Darbie Sherwood coordinatting with me to help our guests find accomodations, but I just had a panic attack last night that this company wasn't credible and thought I should see if anyone knows of them before referring all my guests to use her to book accomodations. Any advice would be great!

Thanks!

Re: All About Honeymoons company

  • At first, I thought they were a branch of Allabouthawaii.com, which is totally legit. But, then I looked it up and saw it's a franchise. To me, that means that anyone can just buy the name and be a travel agent. I could be wrong, though. Maybe others have experience. I would try to look into AllAboutHawaii.com though, or also look on gohawaii.com and see what agencies are listed for Hawaii.

  • have you googled them or searched the better business bureau?

  • Thanks for the advice ladies.yes  have google them and there are only a few reviews. A few bad, a few good. Nothing shows up for them under the BBB so does that mean no complaints have been filed against them and they are legitimate? I have emailed the travel agent and asked her to provide 3 client references. I hope she is not offended...
  • There is nothing wrong to ask for references. Of course, she'll send you only positive ones. If a company is not listed on the BBB, it's because they have not registered with them. That doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad company, but a lot of companies do register with them for this very purpose. Did you see them listed anywhere on gohawaii.com's agent list?

  • No I didn't see them anywhere on gohawaii.com's agent list, but I did see them as a vendor listed on the knot as well, so can we take a company as credible when they are listed on the knot?
  • Yes, if they advertise here, that means that had to apply to do so and pay to have their ad here. That also probably means they are a large company since a lot of smaller agencies most likely do not have the money to pay for this type of advertising or they cannot handle the influx of requests from an international website.
