Anybody use Virgin Vacations? We are looking at booking a multi-city European honeymoon and wondering what kind of experiences people have had with this company.
Also, we need some help with the itinerary. We have a total of 17 days for the honeymoon, and we know this will probably be our only trip to Europe. We want to make the most of it, but don't want to be exhausted at the end.
We are looking for things like walking tours, museums, "ancient wonders", etc.; not much into the nightlife or shopping. Just want to see beautiful places, take amazing pictures, and try new cuisine.
We are looking at:
Dublin - 3 or 4 full days (relax, see castles, Giant's Causeway)
London - 2 full days (just Stonehenge, maybe "Jack the Ripper" tour)
Paris - 2 full days (1 full day for the Louvre, want to see the Eiffel Tower)
Rome - 3 or 4 days (1 day Rome, 1 day trip to Florence/Pisa, 1 day trip to Naples/Pompeii)
Is this too much craziness for one trip? I know that anyone could easily spend over a week at any one of these places, but we've really narrowed down what we want to see. I think that having at least 2 full days per destination that we do not have to travel should be enough that we're not worn out completely.
Has anybody here done something similar?
