Sandals St. Lucia?'s

Hi girls!!

Just curious if anyone has stayed at either the La Toc or the Grande in St. Lucia!?

We are contemplating between the Butler rooms at the Grande & a luxury honeymoon beachfront room at La Toc.

Any information you have would be appreciated!!

TIA!

Re: Sandals St. Lucia?'s

  • Definitely the Grande. La Toc is small, older, quiet (no activities), smaller beach, and as I posted in the other thread about this - don't think it has a pool bar. We stayed at the Grande and the Regency when we went, and visited La Toc for dinner.

  • We are staying at Sandals La Toc for our honeymoon at the end of August. Go to the Sandals website and virtually explore the resorts. It will give you an idea which would be better for your needs.

Crushme 8602- The Sandal Regency has been renamed Sandals La Toc. The Sandals Halcyon is the smaller of the three Sandals resorts on St. Lucia.
  • We stayed at the La Toc.  It was beautiful.  We had the 2 story oceanview villa with butlers and a private plunge pool.  We visited the Grande as well for a day.  It had a really nice beach, but it had more of a "hotel" feel to us rather than a "resort" feel.

Both resorts are pretty and Im sure you will have a great time at either one.  Keep in mind, there are shuttles that will take you to the other resorts and your all inclusive package allows you to eat at both resorts, use the pools, stay at the beach, etc.

The one thing I noticed about the Grande was that it was easily accessible to the locals.  The beach is beautiful, but it is connected to a parking lot.  The beaches in St Lucia are ALL public.  The beach at the La Toc may be smaller, but its not easily accessed by the locals.  Its just something to think about.  The 1 night we went to the Grande for dinner at Gordons, there was some kind of parking lot party happening with the locals and our nice night on the pier was disrupted my car stereos bumping loud music.
