Belize suggestions

I think my FI and I have decided on Belize for our June 2013 honeymoon. Any suggestions on what area to stay, or any resort suggestions? We would love to stay somewhere with a private pool or jacuzzi but I'm not sure if that would be in our $4000 budget (including airfare). Thanks for any input!

    I was looking into Belize also for our August honeymoon. We looked into The Phoneix, Azul Resort, Victoria House, and Las Terrazas as well as Caves Branch. Those are some really nice resorts to look at. Not sure about the price nits but I rememeber most being reasonable.

    I couldnt help you but my FI and I just got back from a crusie that stopped in belize. we did an excursion at a private beach. it was beautiful.. but then it started to rain :(  GL
