Honeymoon Ideas?

I'm in the process of planning our honeymoon but can't figure out where we would like to go. Our major criteria is white sand and blue waters. Preferably not over-touristy. Would like somewhere safe we could rent a jeep and cruise around. Budget around $4000. Any ideas? We also considered Barbados, has anyone been there? Thanks!

    Where are you flying from? Is $4000 for everything - like every last meal and drink and tour - or just flights/hotels?

    We went to Aruba for our HM. You could definitely do flights/hotels for under $4k, probably the whole thing depending on how luxurious you want to go, it's got white sand, blue water, and one of the main things to do is rent a jeep and explore the island. Not a huge amount of local culture, but since that's not one of the priorities you listed, it could work for you. I don't know about Barbados, sorry.

    Definitely look at Aruba!! I have actually gone there and rented a Jeep for the day and it was amazing! I would highly recommend. And it is VERY safe, one of the safer beach destinations there is!
