Anyone else notice on other boards...

how rude some people can be? Like this board is great. We have constructive critisism, harsh opinions, and we can be rude, but overall its a good group. Some groups I've trolled a little are downright nasty. Some posts there isn't one comment that wasn't completely rude or uncalled for. I know that some questions on a board aren't neseccarily relavent to the board they are posted on, but people are looking for help no matter what and just because a question about food doesn't directly relate to the ceremony, doesn't mean you need to insult people. Wow. I'm sorry. I just needed to vent.

I try to make it a point to be considerate in my posts!  We were all new once.

Some people aren't aware of etiquette or forums norms just because they aren't (I wasn't!), but it baffles me when people try deliver their etiquette message in such a blunt manner.  There are much better ways to phrase/explain things.

I think some of the girls on the Etiquette board on down-right biotches - honestly.

Not all - obviously - but some of them are cruel and rude just to get some laughs. It's obnoxious.

Everything that isn't the "absolute ideal" is totally destroyed by them.

I remember when I first joined another new knottie put her wedding website in her signature and when she had a disagreement with the girls on the snarky brides board they posted negative comments on her guest book page. This is when i knew there are some people with serious issues.

I agree that E girls can be a bit much at times. I just choose not to let it bother me. Mostly by not going there. The same questions are on a daily cycle anyway.

Yea, I agree some people forget that Etiquete although has a general guideline isn't done or portrayed in the EXACT same way in every persons region.

WAYYYY too much drama/clique-y-ness for me on some of those boards, but I do lurk occasionally for entertainment purposes.
