Clutches

Are you guys going to carry a purse/clutch? If yes, which one?

Oh and for those of you who participated in my crazy post yesterday regarding hair fascinators, this is the one I think I'm going to go with: http://www.etsy.com/listing/81939806/feather-fascinator-camellia-bridal

Re: Clutches

  • ohhhhhhhhhh bridetobe that fascinator is gorgeous!!! those feathers are so subtle, it will be a perfect way to incorporate the memory of your father :) I love it!

and I totally haven't decided whether or not I will carry a clutch. I found this seller on etsy and favorited it awhile ago in case I do decide to order one. She has some really ugly ones, but some of them are really gorgeous (IMO) - I am linking to the ivory and champagne section, she has millions of them:

  • No I don't think I will. I'll just have things stuffed in a bag or something. We will have a hotel room at our reception so I'll leave everything there. I'm not very sexy, I know.

  • I made my own.  I wanted it mostly for the post-reception dance party.  It's on the resort grounds, but you either wait for the shuttle or walk and I wanted to have a few things handy:

  • I don't think so. I never carry clutches when I go out, I just shove things in my bra. I might have my MOH carry some stuff for me though.

LOVE the fascinator you chose! The feathers make it look so soft and romantic.

  • Thanks, ladies! I may just have someone else hold my stuff for the day. I'd probably lose a clutch if I had one. My mom insisted I needed one, but I'm just not entirely sure. Maybe I'll stick my lip gloss in my cleavage. :)

    This exactly! PERFECT for you!!

No clutch for me. I wouldn't want to carry it anyway. I will ask my BMs to carry anything critical.

  • I am carrying a little satin wrist bag to carry tissues in if I need them
  • No clue yet. I might just get a simple colored or white clutch... nothing out of the ordinary. And I doubt I'll be actually carrying it around much. Really I just need something to hold a few little things. It'll probably spend most of the time in my reception chair/ table.

  • I'm not going to have one. My sister (MOH) said she would carry everything I need in her clutch. So thankfully I don't have to worry about losing it. We'll store some belongings in the bridal suite at the ceremony space and in a private space at the reception, for whenever we need something that can't fit in the clutch.
  • i agree with what most of PPs said.
Im not planning on carrying a clutch at all. I have one, or I'll have my mom carry the things i need too. So Im not handing another task over to BMs, but mom will be around most of the day with those things that i need. :)

  • Love the flower. Yes, I am doing a clutch, but I am still on the hunt for one that is not $200 lol.

  • That's why I made my own.  I got the base for $5 from Overstock thanks to a Living Social deal (that I got for free because 3 other people bought it, too) and then added the same lace that I put on my shoes and then added the pearls and rhinestones.  All the ones I saw that I liked were a fortune!  I also shortened the chain so that it tucks right under my arm so it doesn't hang really low and end up snagging my dress.

  • It's not as hard as you might think, just really messy with all the fabric glue.  I bet you would surprise yourself if you gave it a try :)
